Nit pick alert! :-)
An Apple II, II+ and unenhanced IIe will all show "Apple ][" at the
top of the screen on power up. The enhanced IIe shows "Apple //e",
the IIc shows "Apple //c" and the IIgs shows "Apple IIgs".
I'm not quite sure what the IIc+ shows but I imagine it would be
"Apple //c+".
Note that none of them use ][E. :-)
