HI:
Just received my Apple IIe emulator card for my LCIII and it works. But
I wanted to transfer the files from my 5 1/4" diskettes (PRODOS files
made with AppleWorks) to 3 1/2" floppies.
I have an Apple external 3 1/2" drive (M0130); but I'm not able to
access it. Maybe it's not possible?
I tried daisy chaining the drives, but the 3 1/2" drive didn't show up.
The 5 1/4 shows up as if it were on Slot 6 drive 1. I would have thought
that the 3 1/2" would show as if it were on Slot 6 drive2, but it
didn't.
Is there no way to access the external Apple 5 1/4" drive while in
System 7.5.x so I can copy the PRODOS files to my internal 3 1/2 on my
LCIII?
Also, another question. Should PRODOS be able to recognize DOS 3.3
files. I mean diskettes that were formatted on a PC with DOS 3.3? Or is
this some other DOS 3.3 especially made more Apples?
Thanks for your help,
Henry
