I used this set up for years at school  on the //e without any problems,
including printing from slot 1 while being online on slot 2.  Yes, the
SuperSerial Card does have the feature of being either/or, but if you're going
to use them on a regular basis, just pick up a second card.  It makes life so
much easier.
