You're running Linux on a Mac or PC based box?
If PC based are you using a localtalk card or some other bridge to localtalk for
the GS?
Are all the system setup, cdevs and FSTs being loaded by the GS?

My own setup is
netatalk1.4 with asun2.1.3 extensions
on a PC going out ethernet
to a GatorBox and then to my GS

So far I can only log into Linux as a guest, but I set up default directories so
I can get to what I need.
