I'm not familiar with this particular device, but I expect it will work.
The IIgs 16-pin game connector is identical to that of the //e, except
for the following:
- It is rotated 180 degrees on the motherboard, so the plug goes in the
other way around compared to earlier machines.
- The IIgs does not provide the STROBE output.
- The IIgs adds a fourth switch input (SW3), on a pin which was unused
on earlier machines.
There might be problems with the speed of the machine if the software
uses its own routine for reading the paddle/joystick position (analog
inputs), rather than using the routine provided by the firmware. This
can be resolved by setting the IIgs to run at Normal speed instead of
Fast.
