ShrinkIt GS (usually "GS-ShrinkIt") is the for-IIgs ShrinkIt file compression
utility. ShrinkIt is the standard Apple II way of archiving and compressing
files-- kind of like Zip in PC-ville. Files ending with ".shk" are usually
archives of files; files ending with ".sdk" are whole-disk archives.
GS-ShrinkIt handles most of the same tasks as 8-bit ShrinkIt and, unlike the
8-bit version, it can create and unshrink .shk file archives which include forked
