A book called Beneath Apple DOS is what you want. More than you ever
wanted to know, unless you really want the details on NRZi recording
and the P6/P6A state machine.

For this, you'll need the SSC technical manual. Those locations
(assuming the card is in slot 2) are probably mapped to registers on
the serial chip used in the SSC.
