No, they don't. A .dsk file includes all sectors on the
disk, from track 0, sector 0 (the boot sector) to track
$22, sector $F. As others have been telling you, if a
disk transferred with ADT doesn't work, the problem is
likely to be with the extra information on the disk, such
as volume number, write protection, and interleaving order,
which are not included in a .dsk file.
