One problem with your post Paul, and with Rubywand's... the fellow making the
original post wanted to use his Apple IIGS to go online with:
"I want to know the apple II gs
HOW TO plug modem and internet to bbs
how to get the software"
I pointed him to Joe, and Joe gave the fellow more information, all information
that he requested.
If he wants to use a Mac or PC to go online with fine, that's probably what he
did to make the post. But his stated interest was to use his IIGS to do that.
So, rather than help him to do what he wished to do, Rubywand discouraged him.
I thought that what we should do with newbies was to help them. That's what I
did, and that's what Joe did.
