You're correct. I just peeled a label off a rev A to double check.
I'm going to have to start taking what people tell me with a bit more
schepticm. A few years ago a member of our user group was upgrading
rev A&B cards to rev C and indicated from his complains about being
out a 27128 EPROM every time he did a rev B card that the rev A was
a 27128. I gave him some 27128s to make up for the rev Bs. However I
never  personally checked the numbers on the Rev A EPROMs.
