Another possibility is gettting a SCSI card and an IOMEGA SCSI Zip drive. 
The currently sold ones are 250 megs which makes a nice sized drive.  I've
had good results buying refurbished ZIPs from online stores like MacMall.
They run about $10 less and have a garantee which you wont find with the GS.

The other consideration is the RAM.  If you are using system 6.0.1 you'll
need at least 2 megs RAM.  More is better with a hard drive.  It's real easy
to load up lots of applications.  If you have a program like Appleworks with
Pointless the 2 megs isn't enough.

Check the A2Webring for sources for hardware. Check Alltech first.  Ebay has
SCSI cards and hard drive on occaision but the prices are often high.
