Although I appreciate your intentions, and I certainly have no grounds for
complaint (my software is Freeware, after all!), I would have appreciated
the opportunity to decide for myself whether or not to upload my software
to the Ground archive.

My personal preference is to keep things on my site, since that way people
can also see news about updates and accessory software that they might
otherwise not know about. In addition, I like to think that it offers a
better glimpse of my own little corner of the Apple II user community, and
as such helps to keep the platform going, in its own small way. This is
not to say that I have anything against the archives; they serve a noble
and valuable purpose, and if I cease supporting any of my programs, I will
move them there. However, at the present, I consider these programs to be
currently supported software, and as such I would like to maintain some
cohesive presence as their developer.

That being said, I certainly cannot argue against more people getting my
software, however it is done, and if downloading from a Web site is not an
option for any members of the Apple II community, other options must
certainly be made available. All the same, I would appreciate being the
one to determine which options are used. In the future, I would appreciate
at least being consulted before any such uploads are made.

Incidentally, I am still interested in how much of a difficulty users of
non-emulated Apple II's have with downloading from a Web site!
