The CueCat has been the subject of some controversy. Seems that each unit
has a unique embedded serial number which (surprise, surprise) gets
transmitted to the parent company each time you scan something. Essentially
tracks your economic moves. Spooky, eh?

Has anyone adapted that CueCat thing and been able to read some of
those archaic barcode like data things?
