One thing however, is that if I make multiple selections in a Finder
window, use control click to activate SideClick, it then deselects all
the other icons and selects only the icon over which I control clicked,
meaning you can't use SideClick to send mutiple items to the trash.

This is because of a Finder bug. You can send multiple items to the
trash if you hold down the shift key while control-clicking your
selection. I tried to work around this bug in the Finder but wasn't
able to do so. There are problems in the tellFinderSetSelectedIcons
request code handler that result in this behavior.

Bummer. ANOTHER bug in System 6.0.1?!

Will use the shift selection trick though. I prefer list view as well!

Something else I've since thought of that SideClick might improve with is if you control click on an icon towards the bottom of the screen, the contextual menu listing becomes very small and you have to scroll between the options it presents, which can be difficult if you're using Sweet 16 at full speed on an i7 MacBook Pro! Is there any chance the pop-up menu can list its items from the bottom to the top, rather than try to display from top to bottom?

This is nitpicking as well, but could SideClick's contextual menus stay
open with a single mouse click instead of holding the mouse button
down? When I recently collated every freeware and shareware IIGS system
extension I could find, in a blog here:

An extension that causes menus to stay open with one click would
automatically apply to SideClick popups. That's something I've been
thinking about possibly writing, but I have a lot of projects cooking
right now so it would be a while before I got to that one. Anyone else
feel like taking it on? :)

Any takers? :-)
