     Some time around the end of 1995, Scantron decided to close down the
magazine but, to meet subscription obligations, there would be one more year of
publication. So, no new subscriptions or extensions were accepted and, after
four issues (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) II Alive ceased publication at the
end of 1996.
