I remember when the GS came out there was supposedly an upgrade available to
turn a IIe into a GS. A+ even had a picture of such a machine (with the
stereotypical King Tut picture on screen) that had "Apple //gs"(sic) in the
former label location on the case. My dad remembered the upgrade, but
believed that it didn't fully make the computer GS compatable for all uses.
Did/does anyone have such a beast that could comment on its use? I just
found it intriguing that I never heard about after, oh, about August of '86.
