I am totally new to Macs and their OS. I am trying to set up a DSL
connection through a DSL modem and a DSL modem router. When accessing the
TCP/IP box to set up my connection, I see that the choice that I am looking
for is not there. I currently have, in the "connect via..." drop-down box,
either "PPP" or "AppleTalk". Since I need to make a connection using PPPoE,
I need the "ethernet" option. Unfortunately it is missing in this machine.
However, I know it exists because I friend of mine with the same machine and
OS has that option. How do I install it?
Help please
