Mike,
I had a similar problem moving a ".IMG" file from my PC to the Mac. The Mac
could not use it in Disk Copy 6.2. Then I used a shareware/freeware (?)
program called FileTyper v5.3.1 (although a newer version is out) to change
the file type on the Mac to be the "same as..." another working ".IMG" file.
This fixed up the resources on the Mac so I could then create a floppy disk
from the "fixed" ".IMG" file using Disk Copy 6.2.
That might fix your problem.
