Which Apple ][ computer with a desktop?? The original Apple ][, the ][+,
][e, or the //e enhanced. Maybe a souped up //c or //c+. I guess it
would all depend on what you put in your system. I mean true, they are not
going to be as fast as a Pentium III blazer because it most of them have
the 6502's in them with 48k of memory, but usually when people wrote stuff
for the older systems, it usually ran a lot better because they took more
attention to memory handling and stuff like that...
Yes you can network them, I think with the AppleTalk adapters thru the
modem port. I'm not sure if they got the Ethernet deal working or not too,
but I remember someone saying stuff like using DHCP on there IIgs, so I'm
sure you can....
Yeah Get you a IIgs, with a full 1meg of ram or more, a hard drive to go
with it, and you are set...
