i came across a "pre-alpha" ProDOS filesystem implementation today...
i don't know how stable it is (yet), but at least it's a step in the
right direction.... <g>
the TAR file's README says that it's released under the GNU general
public license (version 2). it can be found at
ftp://angus.ind.wpi.edu/pub/Apple2/ .... look for libprodos ...
it doesn't look like it's been touched in three years, but... <shrug>
