Is there a battery in the GS? I have a scsi harddrive on slot 2 and each
time i set it up from the control panels to scan that port at startup it
works only the first time then when I come to switch it on in the
morning it
doesnt see it? and I have to redo the settings ? is there a rechargable
battery in there and maybe I need to leave it switched on or something ?

I think that there is a bug in the firmware of //GS Rom0.3 which causes
the problem of losing the control setting, but only if you use the
full GSOS601 with all CDAs,NDAs etc. If you shift-start GSOS601,
the setting will be preserved.
If there is a remedy for this, I like to know.
