Re: IIe boot disk needed

The utilities which come with Apple's "System Utilities" disk for the Apple IIe
and Iic are far inferior to what's available otherwise. For example, ProSel 8
Utilities for the Apple IIe and IIc would be the one I would use for copy,
format, delete, etc, plus many other useful functions. This far exceeds the
capability of a mere "system disk."

Most Apple II programs come with the operating system right on the disk. Buy
some software (for example, AppleWorks), boot the disk, and you are in
business.

Kiki, you do not need a boot disk. Just boot the software that comes with the
computer. This will require a 5.25" or 3.5" disk drive. I assume the computer
comes with one or two of them.

Good luck,
