I know it may *not* be the first thing that would come to your mind, but
IMHO lots of people think they are doing you a favor by sending in bug
reports. These people naively believe that a software author *wants*
to know the problems with his program, so he can fix the problems...
So it feels like a slam, but a lot of people are just trying to be helpful.
