Hello,
I'm having problems using ADT on my IIgs (rom1). My PC is a P166
running Slakware 7.0 Linux and adtux. I have successfully used this
machine to run adtux to transfer disk images to and from an Apple IIe,
running the normal ADT.
I can transfer ADT to the IIgs just fine (IN#2 rules!). The program
executes fine, but there is no option to send a disk file from the IIgs
to the PC, only to receive. When I try to receive, the Linux box sends
the first 7 tracks (0-6). The Apple IIgs turns on the disk drive and
then nothing happens. I'm using good disks. I have both serial ports
at 19200,8n1. The programs appear to communicate with each other just
fine.
1) Is there a known bug in ADT/gs (v91 or .91 or 9.1 or something)?
2) Where did the 'send' option go?
3) Where is the source code to ADT/gs?
I tried to put my Super Serial card (from my Apple IIe) into slot #1 on
the IIgs. In the control panel, I set slot #1 to "your card". I can
type "in#1" and get the characteristic "don't skip a line CR/LF".
However, when I hit <ctrl-a>6B<enter> I just get "6B" on the prompt, and
the prompt does not change into a "Apple SSC:" prompt. I have not tried
(forgot) to run the normal ADT on the IIgs using the SSC card.
