Re: First computers . . .



The first computer I really learned to program was the Mac 512k in high school.
I was trying to make a text based RPG program using Think Pascal.  I was then
swayed by the Dark side to the PC world by some high school buddies.  I then
learned to program them using Turbo Pascal.  I have picked up C and x86 since
then.  I learned AppleSoft basic about three years ago and learned 6502 assembler
enough this last year to program the Nintendo.  I hope to learn more about the
65816 for the Super NES and the 68000 and Z80 for the Genesis (Yes the Genesis
has two processors).  I have a special place for the early Mac, but I do not (and
do not care to) program on or use them.  I have more fun messing around on the
Apple II.
