It won't win any prizes for graphics or sound, but "Crossfire" was
one of the very few games I never got tired of. (Another was "Kaboom!"
on the Atari 2600.)

For some reason, the Apple II version of "Phoenix" also has great
replay value.

As for graphics, "Airheart" blew me away the first time I saw it.

Other great games: Lode Runner. Castle Wolfenstein. Archon.
Flight Sim II. Robot War. Stellar 7.
