Bryan,
I am interested in hearing just what you'd want out of such a card. You
mention a PCI card... would an ISA version be just as acceptable? I'm still
using one of those motherboards without an agp slot, as my primary system,
so I realize I'm behind the times a bit. Also, which operating systems would
you most want to see drivers/software written for? My intention would be to
release all hardware info, so that anyone could come along and write a
driver for os/2, or beos or whatever... but in the meantime I might only be
capable of doing such for win32, or just possibly linux. Finally, would
there be any point in adding any other devices to the card? I'm thinking
myself, that a localtalk port might come in handy, and wouldn't add any
unreasonable cost to the total. I would think that emulator authors would
jump at the chance to have it emulate a workstation card, or the GS's
localtalk port.
Thanks,
John Oyler
