If you want to share one monitor with a IIgs and a IIe, you normally use
a composite monitor.  Of course newer TVs and most VCRs have the
composite inputs, but the display quality will vary greatly from one
display to another.

If you have a card that produces RGB output on your IIe, then it must be
compatible with your IIgs monitor's RGB input.  I'd verify that the IIe
displays properly on your IIgs monitor before investing in this A/B
box.  If you can use the IIgs display with your IIe, then this box would
work.
