Re: need help with a disk II

Hi,
It could be the the write protect switch is bad or out of position. It
is a micro switch that is held in by 2 allen head cap screws. Someone
may have moved it so the kids could not write to the disk.
The last possibility is, half of the I beleive, 1350LM read/write chip
is bad on the disk drive board . I would have to check to make sure it
is the right chip for reading. Disk II drives are still fairly cheap.
  Take care
           George
