Other than using a program, such as MECC's Computer Inspector, that lists
additional hardware recognized or not on an Apple II, you could simply run
AppleWorks and see if the Desktop size was larger.  Also, some copying
programs, such as MECC's, will make use of extra memory if they find it so that
only one pass of the disk is needed because the original program is kept in RAM
for faster copying.
