     The best joystick made for Apple II computers is FlightStick from CH
Products. The next best stick is Mach III from CH Products.

     Two pretty good Apple II sticks are the original Wico "Computer Commander"
(big red handle) and a couple lotus-handled joysticks from Kraft-- one with a
handle-mounted button and one without.

     Possibly the worst joystick ever made is based on an idea that, at first
glance, looks pretty clever. The MagStick from Tech Designs employs magnetic
centering-- a magnet in the base pulls on a magnet attached to the base of the
handle. The big problem with this method is that you get a completely
anti-intuitive feel because centering tension _lessens_ as you move away from
center. Another problem is that you have some fairly strong magnets sitting
around where you may place diskettes.
