Dennis,

There are three knobs on the back that adjust how the picture is displayed
on your screen, and, just beneath the screen itself, is a "door" that runs
the full length of the monitor, pull from the sides and there you will find
controls to switch from/to color/monochrome as well as color intensity,
etc.
