I remember formatting dd 5.25" disks in a HD drive on pc many years ago. They lasted an average of 2 years. Each one would format a different amount from 517k to 828k or so. Each time it was a unique odd number. I thought I was doing something, but I wasn't. Hey some of those old disks ended up getting reformatted as apple 140k disks. ;-0 Bruce
