Hi everyone,
I'm trying to track down an article I wrote for Hardcore Computist
many, many years ago... probably in 1984 or 1985. I can't recall any
really useful details, but maybe someone in this NG has the back-
issue...
It was a green issue, with something like a robot walking on the
cover. The robot image was (I think) pretty large, and in white. The
article was for a program that did disk-sector dumps to the screen, I
believe.
Sorry about the uncertainty of what the program did... I originally
wrote the program in assembly to replace a (virtually) unused cassette
drive command, so you could have this sitting in DOS whenever you
wanted it. Unfortunately, they (HcC) had one of their programmers
change it to a utility that you always had to load from disk. Bleh.
The 'co-author' at the magazine was Robert Knowles, if I recall
correctly, and my name is Bryan Farlow.
I sincerely appreciate ANY help that anyone can offer!
Thank you,
Bryan
