I've got the Apple DMP (Dot Matrix Printer) Imagewriter, ImageWriter II, and
ImageWriter LQ. All have worked fine for me, the first three use the same
ribbon, I'm in need of ribbons for the LQ.

The reason I like the AE RAMWorks III is that it sits in my AUX slot, leaving
one of the other seven slots free. My platinum IIe has ever slot filled,
including a 20 meg harddrive in slot 3 (which only draws power) I have a
workstation card, a superserial card, mouse card, transwarp card, scsi card,
5.25" card, and the 3.5 unidisk card. I would have no room for the extra RAM
if it wasn't in the AUX slot. However, read David Empson's response for other
reasons to consider or not the AE card.

Mockingboard? Phasor? I don't know.

PCPI (Starcard is another name) it's a Z-80 card with it's own 64K of RAM, and
can have even more, as well as it's own serial interface (I'm going on memory
here) One thing I do know, as a 6 mhz Z-80, it's about the fastest CP/M
machine you can get.
