I have both, as well as 16k cards made by Microtek and Apricorn. It is my
understanding that the Apple Language card was created first (my card has
dates of 1977, 1978, 1979 on it so I would assume that the card went
through several revisions(?)), and the others were various knockoffs of
Apple's card. The Microtek and Apricorn cards do not have ROM chips, nor do
they have a pot of any kind, or any LEDs. It is possible that I might have
yet another version in my stack of II+s, but it would be a pain to try to
get at.
