How to convert Zardax WP files to plain text?

Any tips on how to convert Zardax word-processing
files to plain text files?

I'm copying heaps of stuff from Apple2 disks to a PC.
So far I've used ADT to get the stuff across, and can
open the files using Zardax running on Apple Oasis or
AppleWin.

However, the Zardax format is binary, so simply using
Apple Disk Manager to copy the files to PC files is
useless without some sort of conversion.

I've tried "printing" from Zardax under Oasis, with
the "printer" set to either "clipboard" or a Windows
"plain text printer" but with only limited success.
Something in the chain seems to stuff up when
printer control codes come through.

Any suggestions?
