Re: New Apple II SuperSite Online
To be honest, I am new to the Apple II "new generation", I don't know
what's been released and what hasn't. That why in the signup page it
says if you see something illegal, or you are the author of the
software and you do not want it online to let me know and it will be
removed.
I've pretty much just taken all of the apple file sites i know of (that
offer them freely), and pulled them into one location.. I'll be adding
another gig and a half of files within the next day or so.. I can only
assume that they are legitimate files because they are coming from
legitimate sources (well universities and whatnot).. I actually got an
email today from the author of some software on the site and he wants
to send me the CD's to upgrade and put the latest versions of his
software online - which is great. The announcement for that will go
out once I get it online... as for spell checker - I didnt see anything
mis-spelled on the main page :) I am a very good speller, so chances
are it was a typo - but please let me know (in email, you dont need to
clutter the NG with it) if you see inconsistencies on the website.
Also, on another note - any Apple2 hardware vendors, software vendors,
authors, etc. who want a website, let me know, I'll give you the space,
hosting, etc all free, and provide a free support forum and email, etc
for your product(s). I actually give everyone a free site off of
users.apple2world.com - but vendors, authors, etc will get some extra
goodies.
Mike
