While FTP IP's and usernames are indeed logged (standard practice with
FTP servers), we didn't track you down via an attempted FTP login.
You tracerouted my system... did you honestly think I don't detect those?
The fact that you wrote in the newsgroup about going to tracerouting my
system, a traceroute, and the rarirty of traceroutes was what nailed you.

They're logged, but anything you do on the net is logged as well. Get used
to it. Every FTP server logs.
