help with SCSI magneto-optical

I have a IIgs ROM03 with RamFast SCSI and a SCSI Sony magneto-optical drive. I
have formatted a magneto-optical cartridge in HFS and Prodos mode and it works
fine, but I can't to copy more of two files from HD to magneto-optical drive :
after two copied files the SCSI drives go off-line and IIgs die. Do you know if
a specific GS/OS drive for magneto-optical device is needed ? I have tested the
same magneto-optical drive with a Macintosh LC and it works fine...
