ImageWriter I and Apple IIgs

Hi everyone,

I have problems connecting an ImageWriter I (one) to my Apple IIgs.
Computer and printer are OK.
The sources of trouble could be the cable (wrong connections) of software
problems (missing or wrong driver).
I am using a selfmade cable. The connections I have found in the "Apple
Interface Stack" (Hypercard).
On my gs I have installed System 6.0. The DC Printer Control Panel and the
ImageWriter Driver are installed, too.
When I try to print I first get the normal printer dialogs and finally the
message: "The device is not an ImageWriter".
Has anyone managed to get this combination running? I am thankful for any
advice.
