As Kent (the author) mentioned in the A2 emulator base, it's a feature of
the current implementation. To allow write through to disk images change
the disk images mod's to allow execution and Kegs will know to write it.

For disk partitions, be sure the partition is writable by the particular
user of Kegs. BTW, never run Kegs as root or you may still have write
problems.
