Actually I think it's a dogcow or a cowdog - depending on how you want to look
at it.  :)  A cute little concept combo-animal that came from the minds of the
folks at Apple Computer.  

As to why it is the default icon for "file type descriptor" files...well, I
don't know why!

Think I'll ask Woz next time I see him.  I'd like to know also!

Anybody else care to add some info on it, if you have any tidbit or facts about
Apple's dogcow - go for it!
