With standard drives, you can not access MS-DOS diskettes. Under GS System
6.0.1, with a Superdrive connected, you should be able to read files from
MS-DOS diskettes with no special software (i.e. with just the System 6.0.1
MS-DOS FST installed). Using an NDA utility named "MUG!" you should be able to
write to the diskettes in a Superdrive.

Another approach is to connect a Zip Drive. With Mug! you can Read and
Write to MS-DOS Zip disks. An inconvenience is that the System Finder and some
applications will refuse to allow an MS-DOS Zip disk to remain in the drive--
they check the drive and kick it out. (There may be some differences in System
response depending upon which SCSI interface card you are using.)

The trick is to be under System 6.0.1 with the Mug! NDA loaded and running
a GS application (like Platinum Paint) which allows access to NDA's and does
not kick out MS-DOS Zip disks. You can insert your MS-DOS Zip disk, click on
the Apple on the menu bar, start Mug!, and have R/W access to the Zip disk.

Don't know about accessing CP/M disks on your GS. The traditional approach
is to be running under a plug-in CP/M Slot card. There may be file conversion
programs (like the ones for Pascal disks) which will allow Reading and Writing
files to CP/M disks. You might check Celt's CP/M stuff on Tarnover (
http://tarnover.dyndns.org/ ).
