Correct me if I'm wrong in assuming that you're using a Mac to write
the files onto a ProDOS floppy which you take over to an Apple II to
unshrink the files.
The problem is that when the Mac writes to a ProDOS floppy it always
adds a fork but it doesn't do this when writing to a HFS floppy. So since
you have a IIgs with hopefully the HFS fst then the easiest solution is to
put the files onto HFS floppies from the Mac for transfer to the IIgs.
Then if you want transfer them to ProDOS disks.
I don't know if rewritting them to HFS floppies would remove the fork or not.
