You can send it to any of many users looking for a ZipGS accelerator.
The trick would be getting it returned.
Fortunately, it is not so difficult to upgrade the ZipGS for better
speed. (See the FAQs at http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2ACCEL.html .)
For example, upgrading an 8MHz board to around 10MHz-11MHz is supposed to be
fairly easy.
Upgrading to "the fastest speed available" would take a lot more
experimentation and involve more cost for parts. (The 'fastest speed' would
be around 15MHz.) Depending upon your particular board, obtaining reliable
operation much above 10MHz may be reasonably doable or it may be far more
bother than it's worth.
Another consideration is your IIgs. To run reliably with an
accelerator-- especially if you add a 4MB Expansion Memory card or hard
disk-- it will probably need to have the power supply leads fattened (or, you
will need to swap in a Buggie external power supply). As speed and/or load
upon the power supply increases, you may also need to add power jumpers to
the Slot bus (more likely on a ROM-01 than a ROM 3 model). For info about
this stuff see http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2POWER.html .
In any case, there is no debate on one point: having an accelerator in
your IIgs is very nice!
