On the IIgs only, if you go into the control panel you can set the display
to monochrome. If you have an RGB display it will then display mono in DHR
mode, colour in all other modes. For a composite display I think it switches
all modes to mono ouput. Some programs check if they're running on a IIgs
and will override the setting when they want to display DHR text. They then
switch back when the program quits.
