Nope.

There is no such thing as a copyright "personal use" exemption.

Making a copy of an entire Steven King novel in longhand is just as much a
copyright violation as a photocopy would be.  Same as duplicating Win98
(although you are allowed to make one archival copy or adaptation of a
program you already own).  With irrelevant narrow exceptions, making copies
in toto is also not fair use.
