I haven't seen the manual on-line... Mine is the original. As far as
scanning, I have a scanner, but it takes about 2 years per scan... And
the manual's pretty thick. It's in a small 3-ring binder. If someone
wants to scan the manual as a project, I don't see a problem with
loaning it out. I'd like to receive a deposit though as protection in
case the person decides to keep it.
But on a similar note... The reason why I need the software (which I
just received) is that I was experiencing bad block errors on the first
CP/M volume. After attempting to re-format the drive, I'm having format
problems when it comes to the CP/M section of the process. Looking at a
posting from a couple of years ago, it gives instructions on low-level
formatting the drive. It's not discussed in the original documentation.
Has anyone tried low-level formatting a Sider drive?
Thanks!
