I would suggest Netscape 2 or 3, since they will provide the least hassle
while defining Apple II file types. Use iCab if you want something which
is reasonably modern, but it needs a third party extension (Internet Config)
to handle file types. Most newer browsers will not run on your new Mac
(Netscape 4.05, and later, wants (the non-free System 7.6; after 4.5, IE was
PPC only -- particularly troublesome since Microsoft won't distribute old
versions).
Granted, if you are just transfering disk images, it may be easier to use
ADT (or MacADT). In combination with IIe (an emulator), you won't have to
swap out that ethernet card.
